I'm alive...

...which most of you obviously know, because you talk to me every once in a while. I haven't been active much here lately, but I hope to change that, if only to exercise writing without actually having to think. That will mostly consist of me talking about stupid (or not so stupid) television shows.

Also, I'm back to welcome our friend Scotty to the crazy world of LJ. Hello frankenstupid!

And now, my thoughts on last Friday's episode of Battlestar Gallactica.

BILLY, NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm so upset. Why Billy, just why?

I really liked Billy, more because of the crucial role he filled for Roslin than anything else, especially anything romantic. It was so sad to see him go. Dee went with her heart, and you can't blame her for that. In general, humans (in BSG-universe and life) make mistakes and hurt others because of their inherent human weaknesses. Cylons, on the other hand, manipulate and seduce to achieve a greater goal. I can't feel bitter toward Dee for what she did to Billy, but I would hate Sharon forever if she intentionally hurt Helo--which I think will probably happen. Roslin was so sad about Billy! I almost cried at the end when she fixed his bangs.

I hate Ellen Tigh. This was all her fault. Her and Starbuck, that is. Yes, I do think that Starbuck acted rashly. I know her cover was blown (stupid Ellen), but she could have played it cool. It was a mistake for her to go in, especially since Adama told her not to. She's making a lot of mistakes lately, maybe this just isn't her season.

Sharon is definitely up to no good. I think the terrorists were right about that. She doesn't love Helo, and she never did. I don't trust her one iota, and I hope that Adama doesn't either.

I wonder what's up with Baltar? I want to see what's going to happen with him and Gina, not to mention the nuclear war head.

The plot had some major holes. I thought, for a fleeting moment, that Sesha's bro-in-law would betray her and help the hostages. That never happened though, and it made me wonder why they even pointed out his hesitancy. Who knows if he would have gone through with the killing.

Ellen Tigh did provide some comedy, her only redeeming quality. There's no way she's a cylon, she's way too stupid. I wish she would have bit the bullet instead of Billy. Argh! I can't stand her.

Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day!!!
