WITCHES WAY THURSDAY!
So when I last left you guys I told you about the event I was throwing at work. It was the first event I worked on that was completely of my making and boy did I feel the pressure from the boss on whether I could do it and if we as a business would find it worthwhile to do more themed events.
Anyway there is so much more i could say but i will just drop some pics on ya. Sadly didnt get much shots of the decorations on the night of since i was running around so most will be of the workers and customers enjoying the event which is what really matters.
Gotta start with this because its one of my favorites. The new standard for an awesome HP themed Party is to have Hedwig the Owl doing the Dougie.
the front desk the night before when we set up. note the stone wall pattern we put on everything to give it that hogwarts feel and the old wooden direction signs
The Alley Cats (our cocktail waitresses/bartenders), myself, and my friend Chelsea who, through some fancy theatre magic by yours truly ;) , was turned into the Living Portrait we had at the entrance

The game we had customers play to compete for a pair of Oakley sunglasses and some other swag. I'll just let you figure out how the game worked hehe

I put those flaming lanterns all over by the way. it was an awesome effect.
well thats that for now. I may do a post on the creation of some of the decorations if you guys are interested just let me know.
