So...
...that was a little more excitement than I had planned for yesterday.
For those who dont know, I live in Hawaii so last night we were hit with a tsunami.
Just wanted to assure everyone that I am totally fine as are all the people I know.
Our government was super on point and had everything ready hours before it hit. City buses were deployed to low lying areas to help evacuate and everything was handled wonderfully. Tax dollars are not wasted here.
I was at work when this was all goin down so we just followed the news and decided to hang out at work till it looked like we would be fine since we have a generator there.
I am at home safe in my middle of the island totally safe town so dont fret on me. Reports are showing that damage is mostly to our piers, beach roads, and some poorly constructed houses on the shore (which were all emptied early in the evening).
So yeah I just wanted to let you guys know that all is well and thank you to all the folks who sent their prayers and messages.
