Today's Creation on the Web article is about the dangers of a toy packaged with a Happy Meal. It plays a short clip from a German song about aliens. I was trying to figure out how this could be construed as anticreationist when I hit this line:
It seems amazing that a major multinational corporation sees no problem in promoting such ideas to very young children. But we shouldn’t be surprised. As we’ve demonstrated time and again, beliefs in aliens and UFOs have become mainstream. Despite no physical proof of intelligent extraterrestrials the idea that ‘there must be something else out there’ is a virtual fact for most. (bold added)
They're selling to the same market segment and upset about the competition! Replace the words "intelligent extraterrestrials" with "gods" and give away a toy that hums a few bars of "Jesus Loves Me" and you've got Sunday School.
