This month the Ball web stats continued to grow at a crazy rate setting all sorts of new records. Our average daily hits throughout the entire site are up from 37,696 hits / day in September, to 58,362 hits / day in October. For comparison’ sake last year we had an average of 1,294 hits / day throughout the entire site (which we were quite happy with). From an average of 1,294/ day to 58,362 / day is an amazing amount of growth in just one year.
Of course with the averages changing, the total hits per month has increased drastically too. September was the first month we have ever broken a million hits in one month with a total score of 1,130,882 hits. This month we had a total of 1,750,877 hits throughout the site, so that is up well over half a million hits in one month. For comparison, in November 2005, our entire monthly total was just 38, 839 hits throughout the whole site. Our current daily average is now almost twice what our entire monthly totals were running a year ago. I think we can safely say that is some impressive growth.
Not too surprisingly, we broke every single record on the forum as well.
http://blackandblueball.ca/forum/index.php?action=stats This month we broke a quarter million hits on the forum, with 92 new members this month, and on October 23, we had 25 people on the forum at the same time. It was quite the kinky little online party! Previously our records were 151,554 hits on the forum with 16 people on line at once last month. Our new record of 92 new members this month is the first time we have ever broken the new members / month record set in June when we first started the forum with 70 people.
Thanks to Tony for his programming wizardry getting us where we are today. Congrats also to Melinda and her crew for organizing the forum table with the many new people they have already helped hook up to the lifestyle. As ever, a big thanks to kev and his poster and flyer crews who brave the elements to get the word out on the street. A big thanks to all the people who take the risk to put on events so we all have places to go and things to do when we are not sitting in front of our computers. LOL
When you think about it, we’ve built quite a lively community for ourselves. Yay us!
