I am definatly born and bred to live in this part of the world. The sight of dark clouds and last night's rain slowly ebbing away on the ground does not bother me. It's almost a welcome sight. The sound of rain at night is like taking an elephant tranquilizer. Slept like a baby.
I really like it when it's just dumping outside, I mean like a real torrential down-pour, and I like putting on all my water proof clothing and just standing out in it. Have you ever gone to a park and played on the swings while it was pouring rain? Seriously, it's awesome try it some time.
One time a few years ago I was out with a group of friends back in Tacoma and we were all going to Safeway. Well it was pouring down rain when we got there, so me and my friend Tom get out and run as fast as we can through the rain (there's something about running through the rain that's really fun too, I dunno) and we both get close to the sliding doors and we try to stop, well the ground in front of the doors is wet too so we slam on the breaks, and both of us at the same time slip and fall on our asses and slide AT LEAST 10 feet and come crashing though both doors. Y'know how if you push the sliding door inwards or outwards they will swivel like regular doors? Yeah, so we sat there, soaking wet on our asses laughing histerically while people standing in the stoor agast at the sight before them. I think we both laughed for the next 20 minutes non stop, and didn't even manage to buy what we wanted while in the store.
Everyone come to aura tonight, some familiar faces would be nice.
