March Break thus far:

Mar 17, 2004 23:35

Hasn't been to bad of a March break so far, despite a a few inconveniences. This could be a long one, long overdue.

Friday I sat home. Then I got to talking to Matt on MSN and before we knew it we were speedstering down to Empire Theatres to see Passion of Christ. What was with that baby Satan was holding? What was with the whole movie? I was confused. I was kinda grossed out. I don't know if I recommend it. Go see it if you are curious I guess. Once the movie ended and the credits rolled, I stood up...first. For some reason the rest of the audience (made up of old people, hopefully not incredibly religeous) just sat there and probably stared at me the whole time. I felt so bad, like I was some sort of sacriligeous bastard. So needless to say I just did the ol' shifty eyes and slowly inched my way to the exit. Phew.

Saturday Matt, Aaron and I all hung out a Aaron's for a bit, watched Jerry Seinfeld on Stand-up, rented Soul Calibur II for the seX-Box, horribly owned them with my samurai skills, watched them play on their computers, drank a case of frutiopia, ate some mini powdered donuts, ate some spaggetti and caesar salad, watched American History X (not a bad movie), ate some powdered donuts, played Soul Calibur II some more, watched Matt and Aaron on their computers for 5 minutes, sleep.

Sunday morning I pretty much just packed up my things and went home by 11:00am. 11:30 I went for tanning and caught my skin off guard because I was a little red on my chest by 3:00pm or so.
2:00pm I had a driving lesson with Lou and I was speeding a bit, which he didn't much care for. He also got really mad at me for not checking my blind spot when merging back onto the highway which wouldn't have been so bad but there was a van coming fast through the lane. Yielding is for suckers. That and he didn't like how I slowed down a little when driving by really high snow banks that blocked my view of possible cars coming off side roads. Cautious is bad!

Monday I Don't think I did anything. I went out driving with my mom. She drives me nuts, she flips over the little things that don't matter. Like applying my breaks when a car 200ft in front of me applies theirs.

Tuesday I drove a lot. So I went to Walmart and Zellers and stuff with my mom to pick up and return some clothes for the trip to Dominican. I don't like shopping with moms. They're too crazy. And they look at things they don't even need, like they're considering buying it. Maybe this is just my mom. Anyways I went to Superstore to pick up some groceries and I eventually rented The new James Bond game. I regret renting it because it really isn't too good. It's hard enough not to make it fun and the story really wasn't very good. Although Shannon Elizabeth and Heidi Klum were in it so it's all good. jaws was even in it! Funny looking actor. For those who don't know him, he was that huge guy in Happy Gilmore with the nail in his head. Okay so I ate a foot long sub from subway and we went home. Luckily in the morning Kyle and myself made some plans for the evening and today so all was good. We rented (Poolball?) Junkies and turned out to be a really good movie. I stayed the night over at Kyle's which was funny, despite a few heels in my face and so forth. It's kind of hard to lift a Kyle on your back when you're squatted all the way down and only one foot is really sturdy :S

Wednesday morning Kyle and I woke up and had some bacon and toast and Kyle had eggs with his. Then I guzzled down a hug mug of coffee. It was giant! At least the circumference of a pop can's height (a can is next to me) and about normal mug height. We shoveled Kyle's driveway and made our way to my house where we then tried to learn the rules to Axis & Allies, a very, very complex game like risk based in the WW2 era. It was a good concept but the game itself was too complicated as opposed to just playing Risk. So we walked half way to meet Angela and then made our way back to Millwood High to get Elyse. When we got back to my house we all made a cup of tea and tried Axis & Allies but got fed up. So we watched some TV until my mom came home. She showed us where the Star Wars Monopoly board and Risk board was so we played some mad Monopoly. My mom took like 2 hours to make us pizza but they were good. So Angela won that game somehow. I would have if it wasn't for her landing on the Jackpot like 7 times in a row. So after we were done Angela went home and the 3 of us played a heated game of Risk. Kyle crushed us all...well just me. Elyse gave up near the end and Kyle confiscated all her troops. It was then and there I got fed up with the game and just started attacking until I had nothing left. So Kyle won by a hair and they went home.

Thus concluding the first half of my March Break.
3 days until my birthday!
