Summer
I'm back in London. Feeling dead. Drinking gallons of tea. Want to sleep but can't fall asleep. Making plans. This time I traveled by car; it was a ride from hell, but mostly for the car itself. ;) Will be in Moscow in 2 days, for a day, see Tori Amos, then head to NYC. I feel like I won't be able to rest my head for at least a week.
I found this list thing in irick 's LJ and... we all know how much I love making lists. It's not even funny anymore. So here's this little Summer meme.
~ Memorable events (Summer 2010): Heat, the bike trip across Scotland, breaking my arm, tough decisions, harakiri dreams.
~ Atmosphere: Pensive. Lots of thoughts, lots of ideas, a slight poetic block, samurai, woodlands, marshes, fuel, asphalt. A cocktail of weirdness.
~ Book of the summer: Several, in fact. I re-read Longfellow's Son of Hiawatha and remembered how much I enjoyed it. Then, Yoshikawa Eiji's Taiko, which I started reading together with 2 other people so we can go crazy over it together. Hugh Laurie's Gun Seller. Because it's Laurie, people.
~ Tv-series of the summer: I haven't watched much TV this summer, but I suppose... Sherlock? Actually it's the only thing I've seen this summer. ^_~
~ Music of the summer: Tori Amos, Amanda Palmer, Sunset Rubdown.
~ LP of the summer: hard to choose.
~ Drink of the summer: Tea. All kinds of it. Coffee. All kinds of it.
~ Food of the summer: Mövenpick.
~ Website of the summer: Twitter. I started an account there on a spur of moment and I got pretty much addicted.
~ Anime of the summer: Sengoku Basara. You may have noticed.
Normally I'm not a fan of such memes because they have this weird sense of finality about them; but I can't help making a list. I'm "listful". XPP
