Oh Marvel, how I love your shows

It seems I cannot watch TV shows normally, I can only binge-watch shows. In this case, I simply wanted to get a glimpse what it was about and 24 hours later I'm up to date. *yawns*

Anyway, Agent Carter had me at the Abominable Snowmen joke. LOVE.

Seriously, Peggy did absolutely nothing for me in the Cap movie (tbh, as a German, the idea of Captain America itself does absolutely nothing for me, so the Cap movie in general is a huge 'meh' for me), but that show is right about now the best thing since sliced bread. Which was - as I just learned - invented in 1928. Huh. I love Peggy so freaking much, I want to hug her and then steal her wardrobe because it's awesome.
I never thought I would, but I love the setting and how well it's realised, probably because of all the money Marvel is shoveling in right now. I mean, the cars alone must cost a fortune to rent. And the costumes are so awesome, and don't forget the Old School spy stuff Coulson would die for. *happysigh* It's so refreshing to get another angle on that spy stuff, it's so easy to overlook how far we've come since the war, isn't it?

Also, I am fairly certain Jarvis entertained a young Tony Stark with all those spy adventures he had with aunt Peggy. I had a thing for James D'Arcy since Cloud Atlas, so he's a bonus, too. And as they decided to do Howard Stark exactly like Tony Stark, what's not to love?
