THIS LOOKS ACTUALLY AS IF IT'S TRUE TO THE COMICS FOR A CHANGE - HE IS BLOND, HE IS BRITISH; HE WEARS A TRENCHCOAT AND HE HOPEFULLY ALSO KNOWS HOW TO PRONOUNCE HIS OWN NAME - THAT'S ALL I EVER WANTED (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, KEANU REEVES)!!11! I might also silently hope he has a tree tattoo on his ass, but maybe that reference is too obscure?
I tell you, if this is as good as the trailer makes it look, this may be the thing that gets DC out of its funk. Pity that it took them so long to realize the shit way they dealt with one of the best adult comics movie-wise. It feels a bit like a Supernatural clone right now -- but with John's magnificent powers of assholery, I'm sure it'll be fun to watch anyway.
I must go now and draw binding spells on all my PCs so I can get that shit asap... and re-read ALL THE COMICS. And Swamp Thing. Ahem.
