Is it me or is there a serious double-standard thing going on in Who fandom? And I don't just mean in the Moffat versus Russel debate, but also regarding Ten versus Eleven

I was never someone who let a story be ruined by the meta that might go on behind it - I'm too dumb for that and want to enjoy the show - but I see several possible and very glaring things Russel would've been flamed for that are totally overlooked now that Moffat is writing them. I find that very intriguing, if not worrying.

Maybe I've fallen too far out of fandom, but there seem to be fewer people yelling things like "worst.episode.ever"
