Farscape vs. Doctor Who picspam
I should not rewatch Farscape with Who and Torchwood still so fresh in my memory, it gives me all the wrong ideas... small picspam again.
So, you think, what can these two shows have in common? One is about a human lost at the other side of the galaxy, the other about a 900 year-old Time Lord who possibly crosses the Uncharted Territories twice a day to buy milk. Well, I'm not saying it's exactly the same show, just that there're stunning similarities.

Meet John Crichton, astronutnaut extraordinaire, Ph.D in astrophysics. A bit insane, because so many people frelled with his brain, tried to eat it or tortured him just because they could. And the Doctor, possibly insane by default.
Both travel by Vortex/wormhole, and happen to time travel once in a while by accident.
Both travel in spaceships that seem vaguely organic and are most certainly alive.
Meet the women in their lives: Both kick ass and love it.
And what a first meeting both had... She had him at hello, and vice versa. I should mention it's a human/alien relationship in both cases.
Shagging and conning their way through the universe. Jack/Chiana is canon love!
Droids are pets, too!
CPR saves lives. Remember.
"I'll save you" in moments that mean almost certain death.
Fumbling without much space. They do it on purpose, I tell you. Shippers squee.
Both characters are very James Bond, if they want to be.
Emergeny Protocols giving valuable pieces of adivce... about life, the universe and/or women.
What-If weddings. Both want what they can probably never have.
Pretty What-If daughters they'll never see.
AU ageing with a little help of glue.
The insanity! You can see it in their eyes! Drums, the constant drumming! ;)
They just know how to please the fangirls, don't they?
Frozen Muppets characters while the others work Something out.
Burning planets, tumbling people.
Spaceships being pulled towards their firey doom. Suns are evil.
Chan, we might actually be related, tho.
Sexy plants.
Sexual tension with the main villain. Slash is practically canon.
TVs telling you stupid things that make no sense. Like lifts going sideways...
Funny body swaps. Farscape had a bit more groping of new body parts, though. You know how guys are ;)
It's always sad when one of the more important Muppets dies. They're both called Jack it seems, btw.
