weekend update
Wednesday evening: went to work as usual, then I think I just came back here and went to bed early.
Thursday: I went to class, then before heading home I stopped at best buy to pick up Matti's birthday gift, then the mall to find a hoodie that my mom wanted me to pick up. I couldn't find anything within a decent price range, so I left and was pretty frustrated at that point due to the dumbass construction on okemos road; it takes forever to get to and from the mall area. Anyways, I drove home and we all went out to dinner at Chili's. Later that night we watched Batman Begins. I had a horrible evening because I was pissed off at the humidity in the house and just annoyed overall.
Friday: I slept in, and then after Matti got back from school we went to best buy (to pick up We Love Katamari finally) and then I had to grab a few things at Meijer (woodchuck cider was on sale =P). The game is amazing, and it always puts me in a good mood whenever I play it now. I didn't really want to goto the homecoming football game and parade, so I stayed back and played some katamari while drinking woodchuck, was fun. After everyone got back we watched The Longest Yard, which was ok. My parents didn't really want any of the cider (mom tried it and thought it was only ok, bah), so I ended up drinking the entire six pack that night by myself. heh.
Saturday: I got up, ate food, and watched more than half of the MSU/Illinois game; we were so far ahead that I stopped watching in the 3rd quarter because, well, there was no point really. I went to eb with Matti, came back, watched some of the Notre Dame/Washington game, then a crapload of people came over. Sarah's homecoming group and all of their parents came over to take pictures in the subdivision, so I talked to some of them for a bit, ate dinner and talked with my parents for a while, then came back here around 9pm.
A couple people called me and said that everyone was going to Rick's for the night. I picked up Alex, then we headed downtown. A lot of the McDonel crew was there hanging out and drinking. I tried Newcastle for the first time, and I have to say, I really like it. After Alex and I finished our pitcher I ended up getting about 4 bottles of Guinness over the course of the night, which got pretty expensive after a while, but whatever, it's good stuff. Once the band started playing I had to yell to even talk to the person next to me, so I started losing my voice after a while; our ears were ringing when we left too. I think we left shortly before 2. Jon picked us up and we drove to my car. Then we saw my $30 fucking parking ticket. I was obviously not ok to drive, so Jon drove me and my car back here to knob hill, with Alex following. We stood outside of my building and talked for at least a half hour, then I went to bed. Great night.
