school and work

So. I'm enjoying landscape and plant school so far, but I don't think I'd want to go ahead with this to a professional level. Its fun, but I'm not sure I'd want clients for this. Y'know? That might change, but not now.

....that being said I really like doing space mapping and looking up urban plants and ecology. And I like that its made me think of design differently (surprisingly) So I'm thinking about maybe taking some other courses later on more in horticulture and sustainability etc.

Professionally I think i'm going to try and go back to finding courses and specifically pro-development courses related to Information Architecture / Planning. etc probably for the fall. I liked that many years ago, but didn't push ahead with it at the time.

I'm having a good time with this school stuff tho. I forgot that its nice learning other things out of just interest.

In other not so great news: I won't be moving into Eric's studio as his studio mate. HOWEVER, CSI now has an annex location, so I might look into getting a hot desk for the summer over there (they have air conditioning, I do not). and I guess its ok, because I do have a kickass work room (which i recently re-aranged), and it saves me money for impending travel.

work: its busy, its good. currently I'm working on something in the indiegaming sphere, and have a portfolio or two to whip off. If you know someone who needs a website, portfolio, or front end designer for the months of April or May you should totally contact me. I will knock their projects out of the park.
