What I learned at the mac repair shop:
1) I do not have a hard drive issue
2) I do not have a fan issue
3) It might be the optical drive being noisy but there is nothing wrong with it as it reads.
Analysis: I have a noisy optical drive sometimes.
Well...at least its not my hard drive. And at least I don't loose my machine for a while.
Other fun stuff: I found a deal for the The Flamingo in Vegas, so on my first night I get to stay in the same place that Bugsy used to go. *Yaaaaaay!* Incidently there is also an organized crime / mob tour...gambling is for chumps, I want to see where mobsters got shot.
