Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good vet in Dundee? I could look up vets online, but Id like peoples opinions to know what they're like. I've just got a kitten and he'll be due to see the vet, and need his first lot of vaccinations next week. Also if anyone knows of any kittens available now or soon? If I had thought about it I would ( Read more... )

It is pretty quiet lol!

Can't really help with your requests, only that there's a vets at the bottom of Anfield Street but I've never used it or anything. It's an RSPCA one or something. I think. Argh!

I take my cat to Barbara Barnard's Blackness Vets surgery, 82 Brook Street (01382 225422). They are really good. Some friends go to Parkside and are quite happy with them but other people have told me they are more expensive.

Have you tried contacting the Cats Protection League or any other local animal rescue places about kittens?

I asked the cats protection league, they said they dont rehome any kittens to homes without large fenced off gardens, and then suggested to try the local paper.

Ahhh, my ex-flatmate got one from them in Aberdeen when we lived in a flat but i guess that was because we fostered for them so when he decided to keep one, they let him.

I have plenty of cat owning friends so if i hear anything about kittens, i'll let you know.

we've been looking for a kitten for a while too. I thought that the cat protection people weren't really that helpful when we went to see them.
I think there is a vet's near dundee college (constitution street?)
If you hear of any litters that need rehoming can you let know?
