I thought some people may appreciate the following story. This tale is said to come from the Plains States in the USA, though it could just as easily have come from Europe.
Back in the 1960s, the bus company Greyhound was expanding their North American services and was trying to advertise in as many small towns and villages as possible. At one small town, the local library in the town square was asked to display a list of schedules in a special kiosk at their front door. The head librarian agreed and put them aside. However, the kiosk itself and the request about where to put them was not passed on to the staff for another few days.
Less than two weeks later, Greyhound showed up and angrily asked for the schedules to be returned. Why? Because the librarians, instead of putting up the kiosk, had filed the schedules -- under "Fiction".
I suppose one can call it a case of Librarians' Revenge. :-)
