Despite my recently hectic schedule, I did some further rummaging in the “BlogThings” website for interesting quizzes. This one also qualified ... though it too asks questions that would only make sense in a contemporary North American context.

How Liberal Or Conservative Are You?
Today, I went for a long walk and discussion with fajrdrako, who was telling me about her favorite recent subject: medieval European history. I too have always enjoyed history and I found her comments yet another reminder of how times change. Do we care anymore whether Jerusalem has been freed from “the paynim”? Are we worried about whether the Mongols or Turks are likely to over-run us? Or ... well, you get the idea. As the old saying goes, don’t sweat the small stuff - and it’s surprising what turns out to be unimportant after a century or two of perspective!
