Now that "King" Harper has decided to suspend (prorogue) Parliament till Jan. 26, a question that the Liberal Party has yet to deal with looms large.
That Party's leader, a fellow named Stephane Dion, has apparently lost the confidence of the Party in general and decided to step aside. Plans have been made to select a new party leader at a conference planned for the end of April (and finishing May 2) in Vancouver.
Given recent events, is this a wise move? Or should the Liberals bite the bullet and move up that conference to a date before Jan. 26?
Since I have not paid a premium to LJ, I cannot set up a poll. But I can certainly test the waters with you readers -- what do you think? Inquiring minds would definitely like to know. :-)
UPDATE: It seems that some Liberals are saying the same thing, as
this article shows.
