I HATE THAT!!!
In the back of my head I knew that Laurell K. Hamilton was coming out with a new hardcover today. Even wooz71 told me about it. Is it a new book? No!! It is a previous novel that is being reprinted for the first time in hardcover. I read so many series over so many genres that there is no human way to remember each individual title especially in a series with over 15 books. My booklist is currently over 500 titles which only a small part has actually been read.
How much money does the publishing industry think I have that I would be willing to go buy books I have in paperback in the new hardcover edition? For collectors it is not even first edition since I has been printed at least three times I'm aware of before.
My urge to read only dead authors again is starting to surface. Except all this horrible "unpublished" works are being found or the families are such greedy scum they let some hack writer destory great stories to make a couple of extra bucks. I truly hope there is new level of Hell being created for those family members.
End of rant. Maybe I will do some work, but I doubt it.
