Stroking the artistic epeen

Well the painting took a back seat to sickness, and business. I've been painting miniatures recently as well. Anyway, I'm almost done with the bunnies, (I know...still not done) and Im trying to figure the Background still. Here's where we are now.

i don't know about the bunnies. my best idea would be for life to surroudning them in the the background fades into a barren wasteland.

as for the self-portrait it's hard to say what you should do with it, cause i don't know what direction you want to take.

I like the idea. As for the self portrait, I dont know where Im going with it either really. I like the idea, but I dont know what to do beyond that.

I'm a huge fan of minimalism, I kind of dig the negative space around the figures. It plays well off the detailed skeletons and the outlined fleshy bits. Alternately, some bars either straight vertical or coming down in a slight angle in front of the figures to give a sterilized laboratory cage atmosphere would be effective, but thats just my two bits.

I'm sure whatever you decide on will make me want to slash my wrists out of jealousy.

Take what you've got and play with it in photoshop if you aren't sure of what to do, then you won't ruin the whole thing by listening to us weirdos.
