The terror in this man's eyes is making my stomach hurt. I WARNED about this months back. My words were "It'll be a bad day to be a Black man in Libya." (Damned if I can find where I wrote it though...) Remember all those nonsensical stories about Gadhafi's "African mercenaries"? I say nonsensical because last I checked Libya was IN Africa. The geniuses at AP and Reuters could have said "Sub-Saharan African mercenaries." Even if they had said "African-American African mercenaries" (thx Ali G) it would have made more sense. But they didn't, and in their effort to be PC, they obscured the TRUTH. Which is that BLACK MEN IN LIBYA ARE BEING ROUNDED UP AND PUT IN CONCENTRATION CAMPS. Gadhafi may be out, but racism and a complete disregard for human rights are alive and well in Libya. Our merry band of ragtag rebels is just beginning to show their true colors, and ethnic cleansing is on its way. Does anyone care? Is anyone paying attention? Of course not. America is too busy slapping itself on the back on another Mission Accomplished! to pay any mind to more Black Africans getting killed. To paraphrase Canadian Colonel Oliver (played by Nick Nolte in Hotel Rwanda) "They ain't even niggers."
