It's official, I have the genetic disorder my mother has. The past two days were spent in pain, writhing in agony at school on Monday, and trying to ignore it yesterday when I attempted to sleep it away. But it's something I'll have to deal with the rest of my life.
One of my friends made me feel like trash because she said I insulted her.
A day of homework to catch up on and two tests I missed, because of the day I was gone.
Here's the clincher.
My dad's in the hospital again. They tried to give him his chemotherapy on Monday, but he had what they called a "drug reaction". It took two days for them to figure out how to administer it, because it's something vital right now. Not only has his pneumonia kicked back in, but his white blood cells have begun destroying his red again, meaning he doesn't have enough oxygen being delivered to his body. He had to have five "units" of blood transfused, however much a unit is. He'll be in there for at least three more days.
My birthday is on Saturday. My "sweet sixteen", as it were.
