Letter
So tell… me why.
Why do we feel, the way that we feel inside?
Why do we fall, why do we run,
Why do we love, those that can’t love back?
Oh, I have so much, I want to give,
Why does no one ever want it from me?
A kiss on the paper,
A seal on the letter,
Life can be so unfair.
So tell… me why.
Why have I kept this, so far and so deep, and why does it scare me so?
Why am I frightened, of the letter I sent you,
Words cannot harm the one who wrote them.
But then, on occasion, the words might have meaning,
A meaning which might mean more than I can bear.
The mailman may see it,
Your mother might read it,
They’re risks I have to take.
I remember it by letter, every ink and every line,
I remember the fear I sowed with the seeds of the words…
It’s been a week yet, no reply,
The days are growing thin,
And my eyes are yearning for the words of your hand.
A kiss on the paper,
A seal on the letter,
Life can be so unfair.
But you my dearest, the fairest of them all,
You have cut me to the quick.
A kiss on the paper,
A seal on the letter,
Life can be so unfair.
Yet still I can hope, that your lips touched the kiss on the letter…

Yeah. Totally new song I wrote last night, it's way different from the ones I usually write. This is like, my second love song ever. Yay.
