Yesterday was a day for the beautiful and random. We went to the mall to look at nutcrackers (a highly under-appreciated commodity) which I happen to collect; we also went to the Rave, which is a movie theater next to the mall, where I saw The Legend of Zorro. It had a completely different feel than the first one, and the digital effects weren't that great at all, but I liked it.
My Christmas shopping is progressing! I have one of Liz's presents (either for her birthday or x-mas), I think I know the other thing I'm getting her, I have Kate's, I know one thing I'm getting for my Sasha, and everyone else, don't worry, I'll figure something out.
I've realized that even though I'm fairly lonely at the moment, I really don't want a girlfriend right now. I've spent the past two days on the phone with a friend trying to convince her that she did the right thing by breaking up with her boyfriend - I really don't need all the drama relationships like that bring right now.
But on a lighter note, my mom bought me a book of guitar tab which has Slipknot, Foo Fighters, Modest Mouse, Breaking Benjamin and more. She can be really cool sometimes. O.o
