Hindenburg interior

One of my random Google searches brought up an interesting site about the Hindenburg.

I was particularly interested in the interior design of the passenger areas. For a mid 1930s design, it still looks remarkably modern and minimalist. Of course, the minimalist part was due to necessity - for a lighter than air ship, every kilo mattered.

In some of the common area shots, I half-expected to see someone using a macbook:
