Go see The Tripper!!!

That's right, David Arquette's great film "The Tripper" is playing in Hattiesburg. This movie is very limited release. Only fifty screens in the nation. Chicago doesn't have a single theater playing it. Neither does Sacremento. There are entire states without a print of this movie. But Hattiesburg does have it. it's the only place in the state showing it. No prints in Alabama. Only one in Louisiana (Lafeyette) and only one in Florida (Fort Lauderdale). Tennessee has two (Knoxville and Johnson City). But either way, the point is it's spread pretty freakin' thin. Aren't you lucky to live so close?

"But what's it about?" you may ask. Well, I'll tell you. There's a Hippie Free-Love fest in the redwood forest. Unfortunately, a guy dressed and obsessed with Ronald Reagan is bent on ensuring their trip is a bad one by bringing down his ax on unsuspecting hippies. It's a freakin' great movie. It opens today, but me, my managers, and a couple of my coworkers and friends have already seen it TWICE. That's how awesome it is.

Who's in it? Again, funny you should ask. Jason Mewes, Paul Reubens, Lukas Haas, Jamie King, Thomas Jane, Balthazar Getty, and of course, David Arquette and Courtney Cox.

Showtimes are here for the Hattiesburg Turtle Creek 9 movie theater (the one in the mall):
1:05, 4:20, 7:15, 10:00
(yes, we have a four twenty show for a movie about hippies getting killed, beautiful, right?)

Here's the myspace site with all the info you need (including a redband trailer).
