(no subject)
Oh my! I almost forgot about this thing. Today i woke up around 1:30 and started working on some more songs. My plan is to record in June or July. Every song will run right into each other, there won't be a single second of silence. The transitions I've made so far are rediculous haha. They make no sense but its fun because usually you can tell when a song is going to end, but this way you're just like "What the fuck is this?" then before you know it, it's the next song! I've got the first 5 songs done and I really really like them, they're alot of fun to play. I want to make the most fun, simple, upbeat album ever. My goal is to have at least one person listen to it more than once haha.
I've also been working on my dream drum set! I'm buying seperate pieces from ebay. Since no particular name brand can harness what I need in a preassembled drum set. I'm buying drums and cymbals that are at least 2 or 3 inches bigger than you're standard drums. I bought a 20 x 18in floor tom, 15x 12 tom a 14x 10 snare drum and a 22in ride. That shit is huge! And you're probably wondering...since all these drums aren't from the same set...don't they all look different!?!? And the answer is..yes they do BUT I am buy ing a silver glitter glass drum wrap so that all the drums will look like this
. Since all the drums are of different name brands, I'm going to make my own name brand....."the fuck". Why? Because my drums are gonna be so big and weird sized people are gonna say...'the fuck is that?
Annnnd the movie that Sean and I are directing will be shot in Feb-March. I don't wanna tell too much, I just wanna let everyone see it when it's done, but we've done tons of preproduction for it so it should come out pretty good.
Oh man....I hate Oprah, I just saw one of her commercials and she actually said "Every moment is worth celebrating." Not to sound pessimistic but........I don't see anybody throwing a party when they've been diagnosed with AIDS. Yah every moment is worth celebrating when you have 90 billion dollars and you're own TV show, fucking hag. I hate Oprah. Dr. Phil sucks too, he pisses me off. I can't understand why people listen to him. I can't beleive people listen to his advice on relationships when he's been divorced 3 times..fucking tool, I hope he burns in Hell.
On a gnarlier note. We have a show on Tuesday, Feb 2nd at The Living Room. With Can't Face The Falling and some other bands. It starts around 8 so please come!
