The Woods
Some person called monsterfeets got me to join artslam at the very last second! What am I gonna be working on for the month of June? New(ish) worldbuilding project working-titled The Woods.
A big part of the reason I haven't been posting here is that Photobucket is a BUTT and will not seem to take my uploads anymore (maybe it's just this computer?), so I guess I'll be using the terrible LJ image upload feature.
Anydoodle, here are some rough development sketches I've done for The Woods over the last couple of months:
You may recognize Spot from this ancient cave-wall petroglyph. The cat is Vincent Baggs, a con artist and pathological liar, and the little girl is Sarah Wimbledon. Not sure about the gypsy lady yet, still figuring out her role in things. I could go on about these people but then we'd all be asleep and there are things to do! More later so long as I am not devoured by kodiak bears. The Island is full of them.
