Aww. I love this. I so had to read this first when I saw the titled, "Yer a Girl". Hehe. Love that he compared her to a tumor and her answer to it.

*jumps for joy* My very own fic! This is the first time someone has written something for me. And I'm so happy. I clicked on it b/c I loved the title not realizing you had written it.

Back to the fic. Lovely work. I think you captured what I imagine their relationship would be like during that time. Plus, you clearly articulated why I love this ship so much. With the exception of maybe Kaylee, Jayne is the only one who sees her as just a girl. And she tended to act like one around him.

And awesome subtle masterbation joke. :D

Thank you for this nice gift. I'm about to have a rough weekend so this was a nice break.

Thanks so much! I actually didn't expect it to turn out so well, so I'm glad you like it.

I've definitely always felt that Jayne was probably the only on the ship who saw her for what she was, and was kind of afraid of her (for good reason)... It's one of the reasons I am actually able to believe Jayne/River could be a possibility. :]
