Tuesday moin Sar parce que Le Illness
Turned out well enough not much done but a lot accomplished you read about said poetry adventure and future endeavors. Later that night I made my myspace music shite and so far it is being well recieved by my peers and I put the utmost of faith in them to tell me if I suck if necessary so I take this all as a very deep compliment.
Wednesday aves Jenna et Steev et Jared
So I went to a show featuring a band that had Thomas Lynchs son, Sean as leadsinger I had heard snippets and was impressed but I was completely unprepared for the gorgeous wall of sound they produced its not fucking fair that much talent resides in one family. Oh if you don't know Thomas Lynch read a goddamn book. (hint: hes an author and a fucking great one at that). They kind of had a sweet ass shoegaze meets new wave thing and it worked oh so well and they avoided the hipster dance rock pitfall beautifully by playing their instruments well. I wish I could say that for the other shit ass bands that preceded and followed. www.myspace.com/inlieuof check them out. The ride there was when I discovered my newfound love for henry rollins
Thursday is gearing up to be a good one, it includes work which I enoy actually, so theres that. Room clean which needed badly. Possibly a magic stick night though its my turn to DD so I'm looking foward to having a good time mingling (not being sarcatic I just don't dance if I'm not drinking which I don't plan on for a bit). You should go.
Ok enough of this personal bullshit. Thanks for sticking with me though when I'm not offering fine Livejournal entertainment, you guys truly are friends. I've been feeling artsy fartsy lately so you'll get some more madness in the form o writing later and I've been keen on drawing lately so maybe that and I'm werking on new tracks. Looking for someone to collab with (looking at you Steev) I just did some ambient/drone stuff that needs a bit of tuning outside of my head I want to see other takes on it. I'm trying to think of observations I made this fine day in Ann to the Arbor. Well I want to hurt young men with faux-mos at this point. I wish I could be all "dirty scenester this and dirty scenester that" but I guess from an objective point of view I can't have an objective point of view. I should just Be Drinkable and let things be I guess. Though I still want to go up to faux-mo guys and mess up their hair, one day I may break. Ok I'm going to try and unleash one good sentence: Oddly enough while I'm doing thiis Chicks On Speed - 99 Cents is playing. Monochrome eye shattered by its own moisture.
