Father Christmas
Parents are so cheesy. I worked today until 3PM and my dad (who lives in New York) leaves a message saying his usual "his kids don't love him" blah blah blah type of thing because we haven't called him on Christmas.. Christ, I just got off of work, dad! He does the same thing on every major holiday! He complains that I don't call enough and then when we do talk he constantly tells me to shut-up because I explain (with evidence) my opinions on certain matters. I don't expect my dad to give me money for school because I know he can't afford it but I don't expect him to try and guilt-trip me because I never thanked him for when he used to send me 100 dollars every week because it never happened! I asked him when did he ever send me money for college and then he paused to realized he was wrong. Did he mix me up with some other kid? Do I have a brother out there that used to receive a 100 bucks a week from my dad though my dad was always unemployed? Merry Christmas, father!
