Iowa Trip, Spring Schedule, and Other Future Plans
To round out my vacation I'm going to be spending from Jan. 17 through the 22nd in Fairfield, Iowa, visiting one of my best buddies in the world. I am going to FREEZE. 10 day forecast has average temp at 33 degrees. >_< %$&! Oh well, friends are worth freezing for.
On Jan. 24th I'm gunna spend the day with Rachel, one of my middle school buds I've been fortunate enough to keep in contact with. (She's awesome like that.)
In other news, I've finally got a first choice 4-year picked.
I'm going to work my butt off this year so I can go to the University of Hawai'i at Manoa starting Spring 2007.
Starting with 17 units this spring...
Monday: Intro Phil 10:45-12:10, General Biology 12:15-1:40 Lab 1:50-4:55, Badminton 6:30-9:35
Tuesday: Prin.Microecon.9:15-10:40, English Comp. 10:45-12:10
Wednesday: Intro Phil 10:45-12:10, General Biology 12:15-1:40, Criminal Law 1:45-4:55
Thursday: Prin.Microecon.9:15-10:40, English Comp. 10:45-12:10
Monday/Wednesday looks to be hellish, but hey, no work to take away from homework time.
Over the summer I'm most likely going to work part time and take two classes at EVC so that I'll have the required transferable units before submitting my application. (It's a plus to have it done and not just planned from what I've heard.) I'm thinking Human Sexuality and Sociology, who's with me?
If I don't get in I figure to stay at EVC the extra semester, get my AA and go about applying to the UCs as per my original plan. But hey, it'd be nice to get out a semester early and get some more poli-sci credits that much sooner. Plus hey, I'd get to live in Hawai'i for 2 and a half years. 8-)
The best part about this grand scheme of things is that even if I don't end up going to UHM, my mom insists that we check it out this spring= someone else paying for me to go to Hawai'i. (Should have thought of this sooner.)
Tomorrow I'm thinking I might go to the campus book store (if it's open) and get my books for next term so I don't have to worry about it in the week I have after I get back. Then around 1:00 I might stop by EVHS. Mars asked me to pick her up and Mrs. A likes hearing a progress report on all her former students every now and then, (for those of you who didn't know), and I'm going to get her take on what I'm planning to do and see if she has any inside scoop on UH while I distort all you seniors' grades. ( <---kidding)
That's all I have to report for now. Ahhhh loving the relaxation time........mmmmmmm soooo comfortable and not at all troubled by finals...
