SO... I did summon up some fortitude and quit my job today. Anyone want it?
Did you have a good birthday, Alex? Hope so, but I can see how it would have sucked since I couldn't go. :-p
Now I'm going to go re-read Order of the Phoenix for the umpteenth time. After watching GoF for the third time on Friday I realised that I have completely forgotten everything that happens between the end of four and six.
Man I feel good about quitting. My spirits are especially high because two weeks from today Teryl's gunna be home!!! :-D She's only gunna be here for 12 days though and then I won't see her again for another year and a half most likely. She's going to Afghanistan in February you see, and will have at least a year there. I am going to make as many good memories with her over the holidays as I can, because as optimistic as I like to try and be when in comes to my sister's chosen career, I can't help but think in this little corner of my mind that the next time I see her might be in a body bag. (Cheery thought, eh?)
It is bloody freezing in here. I'm going to crawl under my blanket with a flashlight and Harry Potter. Though, I would be fine with Daniel Radcliffe instead. (:
Edit: (This was almost a fourth entry, but I really didn't want to go there.)
So occasionally I brave that stupid site that is myspace. Today it only took three minutes to piss me off. My beef of the day: What the fuck is up with putting some really loud obnoxious overplayed angst song on those like it's your fucking anthem? Fuck!
