Closed for the season.
I need to write out our adventure on Monday. :)
Hannah and Mike came over, and we went to pick up Dickie.
We drove to Chippewa Lake Park (and actually found it this time!)
We drove around and noticed a lot of cars by the big "no trespassing" gate.
We parked down the street, behind a church, and walked through woods (instead of on the road) to get to where all the cars were.
We then wandered around and eventually found the burnt-down ballroom. It was sweet - we took pictures.
But as we were wandering, we came across people, so we turned around and went back.
We decided to go to the front and ask someone what was going on.
Mike asked this random guy... and he explained to us that they were filming a Hollywood movie there!
He told us all about it - it's called "Closed for the Season" and if we would have been there on Saturday, we could have been extras. That was rubbish.
He told us the website (shadowcastpictures.com) and we talked to the clown guy, Jerry.
I memorized what Jerry looked like so when we go see the movie, I can be like "omfg, i saw that guy in real life!" haha.
So, we were satisfied and left.
We went to the truck station and ate in the restaurant. It was pretty fabulous.
Then, we drove to see the kittens.
And we came back to my house.
Oh.. we picked up Matt on the way home. :)
I found out his phone is a bitch, so that's why he wasn't returning my texts, not just because he doesn't like me anymore.
Hannah gave Dickie and Mike a tour of my house, and I went on it too.
It was hilarious.
And we played pinball and Matt beat us hardcore.
Jason came home sometime in there.
So we all hung out and it was fantastic.
Today at work was crazy, it was open interview day and I had to deal with 100+ people wanting to fill out interviews and talk to mangers.... all between 3 and 4. haha. It bloweddddd.
Now, I'm going to force Jason to get off Grand Theft Auto and watch the Olympics with me. rofl.
