It came as a shock... But I guess us diplomatic kids never stay in one place very long... Kind of comes with the job description I guess.
So...
Where to begin?
There's so many things to say 2 and half yrs of knowing as been quite an experience. I remember the first few weeks you were here in the final closing stages of 8th grade, you and glasses = dork. :p So 8th grade I didn't pay much attention to you except the occasionally bball.
Like you said some time ago - 'Laziness is your 2nd nature Jeff.' IT's true and most people in my class could certainly testify to it. I have a tendency to wake up late and then rush to school in the last 5mins to be only be conscripted into Special Forces. I can say with certainty that without you, I will never had been motivated to excel in academics.
You've been a great friend. We certainly had many good memories... Just normally walking around and joking around with ken and will. Talking about your and mine girl problems. Even the days when we're just bored and we just hang around and somehow will always end up laughing our butts off.[too many times man] Just that... hahah the hospital joke ahha that was hilarious... Even when we study together at my house ... library... or in your dorms we seem to always find something funny and entertain ourselves. Even the times in AP Bio will be missed... especially when the times when you kept on touching Ken haha! I guess AP Chem would be never be the same without you... there pestering ken for our entertainment.
What I will miss most would be the bball times... those I'll always remember =] I still wonder how many games of 3vs3 or 5vs5 games we have played together. Funny how a sport can build up our friendship. Just that I'm gonna really miss those times... The screeching of bball shoes and swishing of nets. Yells of 'SCREEN!' 'SHOT!' 'CMON! OMG how could you miss?! or even 'NIce pass' these shouts of encouragement or criticizes will all be missed. I have no doubt that you'll die with a bball in your arms.
Another thing that is particular about you is your obsession in spending less money. I remember those nights afterschool when we just walk around trying to find a good cheap place to eat. Haha always the jokes about us being poor and of course we drag in will ken -> those 2 are never left out whenever we talk about how pov we are. Even when we went to chun yun da tsuei for our intro to satellite communication, we still managed to find a cheap place to eat. Now you're finally gone, I can actually eat a decent meal. JK
Your ambitions and self-control are what I most admired about you. You've taught me a lot about self-control and somehow your ambitions seemed always within reach. This I truly admired.
Well - For a Great Friend~ Hope you take a little part of nehs to wherever you go.
