it is this guy beamer and it is my favorite picture in the whole world because it is a joyous exploration into the subtleties of the animated and inanimate, of movement, light, and hot guys.

i don't exactly know when i leave...either the 22nd or the 25th of august. my roommate is moving up the 22nd, but that's a whole week before classes start, and that's a little long to have nothing to do or drive (little more than a bike, whoohoo! i love bikes, really [no sarcasm intended]), and one of my really good friends and i wanted to move up together, and were aiming at the 25th, but now we might move up the 22nd. who knows. c'est la vie, right? :)

haha, charles' dorm is about a mile, a mile and a half away from mine. i'm on the northest side of campus, right beside northgate, and he's living closer to the quad, which is right in the middle of campus, more on the other side of the world from me, which we're used to (ya know, the whole we both live at 281 and 1604, just he's in elmendorf and i'm on the exact opposite side of the city), so all is good. it's about a 10 min walk, and a 5-6 min bike ride. hehe.
