Frankenstein Collab + Surfer dude

Jun 16, 2007 11:59

So I finished drawing the surfing card for my art teachers, and it didn't come out too bad!

Many thanks to Fuu and Mark for helping me with his pose! Mark for his surfer pictures and putting up with my ignorant surfer questions, and Fuu for the color and basic position ♥♥♥! (S-sorry Kari, you were only on when I was either sick of looking at it or I was already done... Although, his moob.... hahahahah)

My art teachers were really psyched about it, I'm so happy ;3;b!

Ahhh, I was kind of all teary when they hugged me yesterday, it was the last real school day for me, and Mr K -- the one that pressured me into applying to Laguna and the one art teacher I've had last year and I was TA for this year + a part of his class, etc.. (we go way back) -- said that he's officially not my teacher anymore and, and.. ;333333;;

U-um! Okay, on another note that doesn't have much to do with my graduating so soon, and ohohoh i'm going to miss my teachers and friends ;___;, my school art buddies and I finished our poster-size collaboration of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein for our English class.

There were three people total who worked on this project~ I was the one who put everything together and planned it out~ So the castle/trees is one of my friend's doing (ink wash and pen & ink) and Victor Frankenstein -- the running guy -- was drawn by the other friend (pastels~). Everything else was me. It was hard to put everything together, but the eye, sky, and flame-shaped border were really cool to do XD.

Ahh, but it costed quite a lot to print it out =3=;;.

Okay, back to my nostalgia *___*.
