I've been playing my first guitar alot again lately. It's a squire stratocaster sunburst. It has a really think neck and it isn't entirely amazing to play but it has sentimental value to me which I find to be all the more imporant.

About 7 months ago I played a Blane show at Ground Zero in Bellevue. After we packed up and left the show I was unable to find my guitar a few days later. I started to freak out and was really distraught. A few days later I was amazed to find out that Nico from Danger: Radio had accidentally loaded my guitar in with their gear. I just found it intensely amazing how much of a connection a musician can form with his instrument.

On a side note I haven't been playing nearly as much as I'd like to be but fortunately Blane is writing new material we are working on about 5 songs right now and I think Gunfight In Athens is going to be gaining a major step forward as our buddy Xavier Sherwood is hopefully going to be joining us to play bass and work the laptop magic, holla!

Everything is good these days and I'm looking forward to a satisfying game of golf on Father's Day, I'll let you know how I do.

P.S. If you know anyone who needs any video work done send them my way, whether it be making dvds, filming something, editing, special effects, whatever I need the money so I can buy food and survive on tour =)
