I found some other opportunities for an internship in Broadcast Journalism. I really hope something will work out.
I got the Wallin Scholarship! That is $4,000 renewable :)
Also, I am a finalist (there are 8) for the AAUW Scholarship, in which two winners are awarded $3,000 renewable. I have to get interviewed in order for them to make their final decision. Yikes!
Jonathan is for sure going to Howard in DC for college. Even typing that is tough! It will be a terrible day when he leaves...
I am feeling a little bit better about going to the U of M, all in all, it will be a great experience if I chose to have it that way. Not to mention I will be debt free. I mean, at this point I only need to pay a couple thousand per year, and there are like at least six scholarships I haven't heard back from yet. So, even though Franklin would have been a life-changing, incomparable learning process, not having to fret about money will probably make the U of M worth it.
