a little piece of my mind
Love is a special feeling
You hardly know when you're in it
But yet you do and don’t realize it
Or you tell yourself its hormones
You feel safe and happy, like nothing can go wrong
And you don’t want it to end
It’s the time of your life
Hours seem like only minutes
Minutes are nanoseconds
You’d give anything to have more time
Just one more minute…
One more hour…
One more day to be with him
Even though he's not with you, you can still hear him and see him because
You keep replaying the time you were last together
He's the last thing on your mind when you fall asleep, it doesn’t stop there,
He's in your dreams constantly and the first thing you think of
When you awaken
You want to talk to him,
See him,
Touch him,
Hold him,
Kiss him,
Never let him go
You want everything to be all right and you know it will be
Because he makes everything that way
No matter what has happened
He’ll sing you a song
Make you laugh and wipe away the tears
Talk to you like a person
Tell you things he wouldn’t tell others
And you do the same. You love everything!
About him and the things he does
You want to ask him if he feels the same
But you're afraid to and of his answer
Then you think, maybe he wants to ask me the same thing?
And he's afraid as well
Questioning what he feels too
So you get together and hold each other all night and you both realize,
You're in love.
