(no subject)
Its been a good couple of days, I'm still fighting the bastard that is the Christmas bug.
Yesterday was our last day at school and so naturally, come lunch time we trashed the commonroom and had a party with mince pies and lots of chocolate, twas really nice. there were a few games of musical chair etc but we didnt join in, just sat on our table and talked. I'm so relieved to have my psychology coursework in for marking because it means that over the christmas period I can crack on with my Art stuff which is needed in when we go back to school in january.
I had a little bit of a lie-in this morning before getting ready for everyone to come round. Everyone came round between 11:45 and 12, and as I predicted Eve was first to come and Katey was last lol. We all walked down the Quay to Brewers Fayre where we got seated at two table of four because there wer 8 of us and no 8people tables :(. After some chat we exchanged our christmas gifts, I 'm so grateful for everything that I got:
Katey: Trevor Sorbie hair care
Eve: Darth tater (mr potatoe head) and A book about Green Day
Jess: Hair Clips and a Cross
Ele: Chocolates, personalised pencils and some Girl Boxers
Laura: Mittens and Bracelets
Woo :) I'm feeling slightly more Christmassy now which is all good. I had gammon for dinner followed by toffee waffle, I am now so unbelievably stuffed, and it didnt cost as much as I assumed, so its smiles all round, :)
I have a day free from work tomorrow in which I intend to crack on with some art, and then Its work for me, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
