the way through the veil

Jun 20, 2007 16:12

OK. this is a first. poetry. thought i'd try my hand at it. just roll with it. thoughts?

another day in isolation,
feeling grand from hallucations,
standing secluded in my world of fears,
only accompanied by suffering and tears
I look for the way to a greater realm,
But the way is shrouded,
covered,
 by misted veils,
Ever vigilant, I continue to seek,
knowing the futility, I tremble; feel weak.
A blacked cloud comes overhead,
sunlight waning, leaving me, for dead.
Now in darkness, I see the light,
the gods themselves praise my newfound sight
there is nothing I can do
 nothing to right.
