Luring Evil

Jun 20, 2007 16:07

I was lying in the comfort zone, safely in my bed.
Nothing could make it in here, except the thoughts inside my head.
But little did I know, of what would come inside my bed.
A demon lurked just underneath, and filled my heart with dread.

A call whispered out, a call in the night,
the call rang out whispering my name, with a voice of dark delights.

Shivering, trembling, I glimpsed to see this presence,
entrenched before me, a creature lurked, and I felt it's spiteful essence.
A creature made of black and white, a serpent of the seas,
Vertical stripes with menacing eyes, provoking through their seams.

My first instinct was to run away, but only my first.
With fear comes emotion, aliveness, a quenching of this thirst.
Then, it spoke my name again. This time the call was louder.
A feeling of grandeur, orgasmic grandeur, echoed from its power.
I knew what was to happen, I'd surrender to His power.

And with one bite of his apple, I knew the time was nigh,
my time on Earth was over, now a spirit floating in the sky,
upward, upward into the sky
In the distance, I heard a laugh, as I  told the world goodbye.
