I Will Boycott American Airlines!!
I seriously will never want to travel on American Airlines after this.
Those bitches! I was going to LJ about this when I was back in Malaysia but right now I am too pissed off.
On my flight from KL to Ft. Myers, I have approximately 3 connecting flight, in Narita, LA and Miami. My connection in LA is pretty tight with 1 hour 55 mins but its doable. It took me almost 1 hour to get out of the whole passport control and luggage checks. However, an American Airline employee stopped us (there were about 2 couples and 1 guy with me that should be on the Miami connecting flight) and told us to recheck in at the counter. All our bags however were fully tagged to our final destination. After waiting in a line for so long, it was too late and the flight has departed.
We were suppose to go through the area, dump our luggage to the bag handlers and make a run for our departure gate. Thanks, American Airlines, you made my day by making me SIT in LA airport for 13 damn hours for my next flight and then forced me wait another 3 hours to take the flight to Ft Myers. That is 16 fucking hours of waiting you bitch! There was a 2 pm (3 hours later) flight and they wouldn't even let me take that flight to Miami. All because they refuse to let be terminate my flight at Miami. "Sorry that we fucked up your flight, ma'am. Now we will bend you over and fuck your ass too." You expect me to fucking delay 16 hours just for one 1 hour flight from Miami to Ft Myers? Are you fucking kidding me.
I told them "Look I've been flying since Saturday night, that is 22 hours on air plus 10 hours of layover, that is 32 hours worth of travelling. I am exhausted and I want to terminate my flight as soon as possible. Get me to Miami, that is all. I will sign away the flight from Miami to Ft Myers."
Basically all I got was was "It's not my problem. Fuck off. In case you don't understand, that means NO!"
I cried 3 times in LA. I was tired, lack of sleep and I feel filthy since I hadn't showered for that many hours. I regretted not showering in Narita. I wish I could sue American Airlines for unnecessary distress. I had 32 hours of travel under my belt. It wasn't so bad until the counter representative tried to blame me for missing my flight.
When I called my parents, dad asked if I could change airlines for my flight home. With this much of mess, chances are they would screw up again. God, I wish I could change my airlines. I paid a hefty fee for my tickets too.
I thought that was the last of trouble with American Airlnes. Today due to crankiness I wanted to check on my accumulated miles with American Airlines. While trying to look for records of my flights I noticed something strange. The flight out of Miami was MISSING. FUCKING WHORE!! I jot down all my details and called American Airlines. After hanging on the phone line for many minutes, the agent told me that someone from either LA or Miami had deleted my flight. It was reinstated but I had shitty seat and I don't fucking care who they had to bump off to let me have that flight.
I AM SO DAMN GLAD I CHECKED MY ITINERARY OUT OF THE BLUE.
Can you imagine what would have happened if I had arrived to Miami but no name on the flight. I would have thrown a bitch fit and fucking castrate someone.
This will be the last time I fly with American Airlines. Next time, I am doing Northwest. Cory flew with them and the actually meet you for connecting flights to make sure you get on them. American Airlines just don't fucking care.
I took Northwest to go to Detroit and visit Cory's parents. Everything went without a hitch. We booked our flight late and had to pre-choose seats apart due to seats constrains, when we arrived at the departure gate, the person handed us our boarding pass and to our suprise, we were seated together. That is how well they take care of their passanger.
