[Today Seeu is in the library examining what is available to him. He selects a book then puts it back then selects another. Eventually he picks up a book that might be very familiar to some. Romeo and Juliet.

He stands there flipping through the pages while Thyme quacks about his feet.]

[Haruhi is shelving books. She's dressed in a very suggestive Christmas outfit, but thankfully the mansion won't let her go outside without a coat.

So she has one covering her outfit.

She notices Seeu and pauses, standing next to him.]

Can I help you find something?

[Seeu looks up from his book and stares at her as he sees a slip of something she's wearing and raises a brow.]

I see the event has gotten to you as well..[He pauses there trying to remember her name.] I'm sorry who are you again?

Haruhi, and the mansion always puts me in weird outfits.

Seeu, at least it's a manageable problem. The event seems to be causing all sorts of strange things to happen.

I noticed. [She shelves a pair of books.]

I try to stay away from people when events are happening.

Likewise..If you are the librarian here would you happen to have any books you could recommend about relationships?

[Her head tilted to the side, curious despite her normal lack of interest.]

Probably in the psychology section. If you explain I might be able to narrow it down a little.

I have two lovers who can't stay out of trouble. One is too giving and the other is too...I don't know of any word that accurately describes him. Most of the books I have read don't cover this topic appropriately.

[She frowned.]

Most people only have one lover.

[It wasn't a judgment, only an observation.]

Surely I'm not the only one in need of such a thing in all of existence. Even a book on having a single partner like one of mine would be useful.

I don't think that there's much you can do about the one who is too giving. What is the other one like?

That seems..unlikely. There has to be a way.

The other doesn't understand what I mean most of the time. Neither one wants to be protected but they require it.

[Haru shrugged, expressing something that she had learned while being here.]

People make their own mistakes. You can't protect them from everything, just be there for them when things go wrong.

The things that have happened to them would make a murder out of even the kindest men. It's very hard to simply be there for them...if I could even do that.

[haruhifujioka]

... oh. Then maybe they need the books more then you do.

I doubt that will do any good.
