(no subject)
um... it is a little late. and i need to go to bed. badly. i am going to an anti-war protest in the morning and the ucb students are meeting up early in the morning. (roomie just walked in and informed me that we don't have to get up sooo early as protest begins at 11)...
anyways, life is ok. i stayed in tonight and watched a movie with one of my roomies. i am sick and a little sad. i was supposed to go to nyc this weekend to see my momma and my sis but hurricane rita has cancelled and delayed a lot of flights, including ours... so we postponed for a few weeks. at least my disappointment is only temporary, right?
went to walnut creek today with alida, naomi and john. john bought ridiculously expensive bose headphones (the really cool noise cancelling ones). we ate breadbowls from boudin. (kick ass). nommee and i went to get king pin before we watched the movie... what's hot? is our new phrase, stemming from a story from her mom's past at her own donut shop in santa cruz where she went to college.
college is strange and great and amazing all in one. how strange that i am here. my floormate is singing down the hall... there is an ambulance taking someone away (sarah lawrence, anyone?).... and this is berkeley.
