I can tell that we are going to be friends

I went "back to school" yesterday. My class is PA501 - Women's Development and Microfinance. I orderd my book online but haven't recieved it which is unfortunate considering the first assignment, read half of the book and write about it, is due on Wednesday. Its a common book though, perhaps I can get it from the library for now (Yunus - Banker to the Poor). My first assignment to myself is to google grameen bank....

I'm really into this earring set:

its half branch, half safety pin. I don't know if I'm cut out to wear mismatched earrings though.

I've also moved up a level at ballet. I'm no longer one of the best in the class. Now I suck because we actually do jumps. I've now done my first turn in a good 6 years. Its not really like riding a bike.

Next Tuesday is Dine for Mercy Corps, if you live in Portland or Seattle. 25% of profits from eating out that night go to Mercy Corps. David and I are planning on eating at Subrosa on Division.

I've signed up for 10 weeks of yoga and I'm happy about that. If I don't sign up for a series, I'd drop out.

Next week I'm off to Phoenix for Passover. My roommates are having a party with an "adult easter egg hunt" that I will unfortunately miss.

I was reading an article this morning about cell phones vs. laptops for third world countries: which does the most good? I have to side with cell phones.
