Hi lj, missed ya!
Since I haven't posted in 2008, here is a recap:
Hopes for 2009:
- I still live in Portland but in a new big beautiful house with David and a slew of lovely ladies.
- I have a cat named Folly
- I'm working at the same job (1.5 years now)
- I start a ballet class tomorrow for the first time in maybe 5 years
- The only place I went in 2008 was Vancouver, BC which was terrible. I'm dying for another vacation but I don't know anyone with the time/funds to go anywhere
- I had a good new year's eve but it took me several days to fully recover from it
- Xmas/Chanukkah was uneventful. Portland was shut down with snow so we didn't drive out of town as we had planned
- I had been volunteering with Oxfam but I totally dropped the ball. It was too much for me and I needed more support. Hopefully I can make it up somehow.
- I've been reading way too many blogs
- I drink wine daily
- I'm obsessed with kombucha tea
Hopes for 2009:
- I want to take a sewing class
- I want to figure out how to dress myself (strangely worded...)
- I want to volunteer more, maybe when my Oxfam commitment is over I will diversify my efforts
- I want to do more of the things on my To Do list
- I want to go on vacation somewhere for a long time
- I want to take more pictures
- I want to eat better
