okay...little dilemma...so my family has made plans to go to new jersey to see my dad's side of the family for a few days in a week. unfortunately they didnt ask me, and my friend's 21st birthday party is the very day we are meant to leave. im so torn. i havent seen this part of my family in a year or so, but i haven't seen my friend (who ive known since second grade) in about the same time. i missed his birthday last year for the same reason. my family says that i can leave a day later and go to the party, but that means i would see my family for less than 48 hours. what do i do? lemme know.
